Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) offers a therapeutic approach that addresses dysfunctional emotions, maladaptive behaviors and cognitive processes.
It is a talking therapy that can help manage problems by changing thinking and behavioural patterns. CBT deals with current problems rather than focusing on the issues from the past. It looks at developing practical ways to improve mood and control anxiety on a daily basis.

We have qualified supervisors who offer one to one or group supervision for counsellors and students.
They can provide college reports or any work / placement reports that are required.
The purpose of supervision is to ensure the effectiveness of the counsellor / client relationship and provide reflection and development for the counsellor for the benefit of the counselling relationship.
All supervisors are members of the BACP and work within their ethical guidelines.
